This training programme is designed for suppliers of food, drink, and raw material suppliers who supply Waitrose & Partners.  The training course is designed to take learners through how to enter and complete their specification information onto Waitrose Product Pathway (WPP), and highlight key areas in order to complete and submit their specification right first time. 

To help you understand WPP, and how it works for your type of product. Understand how to submit specifications to the correct team and get specifications approved by Waitrose , so Waitrose can supply safe and legal products for their customers.

This course has been developed to outline the requirements to which suppliers of food, drink and packaging of products must comply in order to begin supplying, and thereafter continue supplying Waitrose, either directly or indirectly.

By completing this training course, you will be able to understand how to complete your specification, and submit your specification following the Waitrose policies related to your type of product, safely, legally, and to a consistent quality.

 

Objectives / Purpose

To help you understand WPP and how it works for your type of product. Submit specifications to the correct team and get specifications approved by Waitrose, so Waitrose can produce safe and legal products for their customers.

The course will use a combination of the WPP system, slides used for recaps and pointers, Waitrose policy documents for accurate up to date information and a Waitrose Activities website to solidify your learning.
